Stepping towards death
Death is not your enemy, the enemy is he who chooses not to live.
The enemy is the competitor, not the clock.
Make your competition great, you only have one.
The days will turn to night, with every turning you walk your dreams towards the grave.
Burry not your dreams with you, make tangible the creations of the mind.
May your vision not die with you, may you die atop your creations,
May your deathbed not bring your greatest lesson, but rather the bell to end your fight,
May your face be battered and bruised, but so be your enemy's.
Today you step towards death, may you also step towards your dreams,
May your tower grow, may your bust be refined.
Inevitably you must retire it, to its eternal rest atop your tower,
May its view inspire sublimity, and yours be sublime.
