Robust
But slow are we to recognize the same results in a person.
Never exercising a dog is animal abuse, proven to result in negative traits, but never exercising your body is just standard practice.
NO! It is abuse, self-abuse, abuse of the great animal that you are! An abuse known only to the unconscious and the mirror.
We assume ourselves above the dog; We assume our primal regulators have little to no power over us.
But we are bound by primarily the same set of biological rules. We are governed by; Hormones, Epigenetics, Nutrition & Environment.
Our body simply uses ancient strategies to respond to what it believes our needs are in the environment.
Does your brain slot you lowest in the social situation? Does it feel threatened?
If so, you'll feel your shoulders rise, defending your cerebellum, making you look small and harmless. All while dwindling your desire to exert yourself. An ancient defensive strategy.
Written into your brain are these unconscious strategies that hold great sway, but can be overridden. Yet it is not as simple as "I believe, so it is so".
He who says I (mind), as well as he would acts I (body), must be in harmony about what you "believe".
The mind is delusional and the body is stubborn. The mind can believe one reality while the body acts another.
If we want to change our strategies, we must harmoniously and resolutely use the mind and body to drum the new strategies into the unconscious.
We must ensure that we do not exhibit habits that tell the unconscious "go on the defensive."
When belittled; Enlargen,
When stressed; Endure,
When beaten; Persevere,
When the body tells you to sit; you must stand. Only through an arduous reconditioning can you alter the unconscious strategies of your mind.
Be active, Stand tall, Roll your shoulders back, Hold your head high, Keep your spine firmly erect.
To reach the peak of our robustness, the body must be told: "I am not in danger, I am the danger."
