Meaning in Suffering
The meaning of life is to find meaning in suffering.
We suffer because of the burden of conscious; because we are conscious, we are aware of all and therefore all suffering. An animal does not suffer in the same manner since he must not make choices, he must not bear the responsibility of choice, all he must do is carry out his instinct.
From this idea, man can find peace. If he is able to make and approach a goal so directionally that he faces it in an animalistic way, then he will find peace in rhythmically fulfilling his duties and following his instincts. He just must see to it that his consciously selected goal is overarching enough to fulfill him as a whole and not just in a singular domain.
Furthermore, suffering should be seen as necessary. Our brains are engines of desires, wants, and needs. In order to change these desires, wants, and needs from ideas to reality we must push against the current reality to make it so. This pushing is experienced as suffering.
So then my friends, embrace suffering, as it is the means by which you can realize your dormant potentials. Find a way to pursue your pursuit in an animalistic manner and you will find peace in the rhythmic actions of its actualization.
You feel suffering? Good. Smile and embrace it, for you are feeling your own creation.
