Decide
Via critical thinking we have to weigh infinite options so to make a singular choice.
There are 3 responses to this burden: Shy from decision, make decision, have someone else make decision.
The overly-anxious generation is such since they defer and delegate their decisions.
Deferring creates a growing mound of decisions that eventually overpower and paralyze the induvial.
Delegating removes your autonomy, you leave your path in the hands of others and become a heard animal.
Leading these types of lives strip you of your innate responsibility and thus stifle and stunt your natural maturity.
The delegators have let everyone else tell them how to live, how to think, what world view to have, what is good, what is bad.
The decision maker of course takes great influence from his surrounding environment, but all accepted truths are continually analyzed.
The entire framework that the delegator uses to understand the world was given to them without analysis.
The delegators are then but staunch camels, being told where to go, then walking there through the arid dessert.
The image that represents the decision maker is a man running down a hill.
He may stumble around or scrape a knee, he may say he wished he didn't stumble, or had a different route.
But never will he wish to be back in the abyss of indecision.
Few pains sting as badly as stagnation: Decide, move, evaluate, repeat.
Decide, move, repeat…
Decide.
