Crafting
What I see lacking is in our commitment to outputting, to crafting, to creating, to acts of self-expression.
We need these moments of self-expression. It is through these moments that we can discover parts of us. When we get into flow and let our inner creativeness flood out of us, the products can teach us about ourselves.
When we find ways to uniquely express ourselves, be it writing, drawing, songwriting, woodworking, jewelry making or any other craft that you are drawn to, we get to open up ourselves and let us poor into our craft.
This flood is needed by all of us. We need activities where we get to express ourselves. For if you never let yourself express you, in an unbounded manner, then logically, you are left unexpressed.
Someone who is unexpressed is akin to the person who can't understand their emotions, they are both destine to have that which is unexpressed contort until it lashes out into another area of their lives.
Opening the gates and letting ourselves flood into our crafts is a manner in which we can brighten our days and thus our lives. These activities force us to individuate, we are forced to get in touch with our creativity, we are forced to uniquely express our minds.
Through habituating acts of unbounded self-expression we can let out what lays dormant inside us, our true selves.
