A Calling
Only in silence can he be heard, Only then can you hear his wisdom,
Wisdom from an unknown origin, But profound nonetheless,
From the depths he has observed, And silently steered,
Relentlessly poking and prodding, Seeking engagement,
Watching, And wincing as his cries are left unheard,
You have neglected him, Left his wisdom in the depth,
But you have heard him, In silence you have heard his voice,
He has spoken to deaf ears, Too weak to repress pleasure's callings,
Where has this adviser led you, Down degenerate paths.
So let me say it again my friend, Be quiet and listen,
Can you hear him, Calling upon you,
He calls you to rally your strength, For his path is monumental,
He calls you to great heights, He demands your spirit,
In return he offers you greatness, He is your sublimity,
Do not cower from your greatness, That is for the faint-hearted,
Your heart is strong, Bask in this strength,
Rally this strength, Let the radiance of your sublimity blind you,
For believe me, This is how to truly see.
Listen, For he speaks the guiding wisdom,
Do not cower, No matter the heights that call you,
Muster your ferocity, And climb steadfastly,
Shed your false selves and run, Towards your calling,
Towards the greatness living within you.
